Join us in commemorating Juneteenth and embracing the power of art and craftsmanship at the Pittsford Juneteenth Celebration! 

We cordially invite vendors and artists alike to showcase their exceptional talents at our event, taking place at Nazareth University on Saturday, June 17th, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

This is an opportunity to unite and honor artists from the African Diaspora, as well as artwork that beautifully captures the essence of the African American experience. We wholeheartedly encourage you to contribute to this celebration by sharing your inspiring creations and talents with our community.

By participating in our Juneteenth Celebration, you will play a crucial role in fostering cultural appreciation and understanding. Together, we can uplift and highlight the diverse voices and perspectives that enrich our society.

Theme, rules, and deadlines:

Entries should include work from the African Diaspora or related to the African American experience. Expressions of community, hope, heart, understanding, etc are all welcome. Art, poems, and essays display ready so that they can stand on an easel, placed on a table, or be hung on a wall.  Please place the creator’s name in the bottom right-hand corner of the mat.

If you would like to submit your work, please come to PITTSFORD COMMUNITY LIBRARY FLETCHER ROOM on Thursday, June 15th  from 6:00-8:00 pm

During the Pittsford Juneteenth event, family-friendly art, poems, and essay submissions will be on display in the Shults Community Center at Nazareth University.
