About the event

We would like to invite you to our upcoming Tedx-Like talks leading up to Juneteenth. These talks will be held at the Shultz Community Center at Nazareth College, and will take place on May 25th and June 5th.

Our goal is to create a space for learning and conversation, where we highlight people who are actively addressing issues in our community, especially those who do it as a part of their life instead of as full-blown activists. We want to inspire people to look at what opportunities may exist in their day-to-day lives and provide examples of how others have made a positive impact in their community.

The talks will be from 15-18 minutes and will follow a "Telling your story" format, similar to that of Tedx. We believe that sharing these stories will be invaluable in motivating others to do what they can, when they can, to create a more mindful and considerate community.

Please join us for these inspiring talks, and let's create a space for learning and conversation together.
