About the event

Herb Smith is a veritable man about town.  Not only does he entertain the masses, but he is genuinely just a great guy.  He spends a lot of his time working to introduce music to children.

Let's have a conversation about how systemic racism manifests itself in performing arts.  I'm sure there was a time talented artists would be denied entry into the RPO based on race alone.  That certainly isn't the case today.  Today, not nearly enough children of color even have the opportunity to study music, let alone make it their profession.  Even though there are very successful musicians of color, where are the bands of color playing classical instruments?

Join us for a real discussion about the different facades of inequity and how we can all do something to address it.

Proceeds will go towards sponsorsing Pittsford's own Juneteenth Celebration, Sunday, June 19th.

Join us for JAZZ, COCKTAILS, and CONVERSATION.
